Q. Ernie, how were you able to right the ship after that little bobble at the seventh hole? Five birdies coming to the house.
ERNIE ELS: Yeah, I was really swinging well today, and that swing there was not a good one. You can't go left of that par-3 and I went left and went in the hazard. So it was a tough one to take after being 2-under through 6.
I bounced back with a birdie on 8, the short par-4, and then I played really solid coming in. Just a little hot not birdieing 18 downwind.
Q. Yeah, that was an awkward stance and lie there at 18. Tell us about it.
ERNIE ELS: Yeah, I got the wind wrong. I thought it was left to right a bit and it went dead straight. If it went into the bunker it would've been a little bit better. It was awkward. Felt 4'2" again.
Q. You've had a wonderful start to this year, a first and third last week in Morocco. Keys to tomorrow playing with Justin? Not sure who the third will be, but keys to tomorrow?
ERNIE ELS: Keys to tomorrow is just go out and play, play solid golf. The wind picked up today. Just tough scoring. But Justin is a tough competitor. There is a bunch of guys behind us, so we just got to put the foot on the gas.
