Q. Ernie, another 67 today. What was the key to today's round?
ERNIE ELS: I felt that I played solid today. Just one hole where I didn't make a good swing and hit it on the wrong side in the hazard.
But I felt good off the tees. My iron play was better. Made good putts for the most part. Just the last couple of holes I felt I left some out there.
But I'm in a good position. Not quite leading, but near the lead. So it's all to play for tomorrow.
Q. A little bit of wind here today. Different conditions. Can you speak to that?
ERNIE ELS: Exactly. Yeah, there was a lot more breeze today out of the south, so it made club selection a little bit awkward today. Keeping the ball in play was key for me around this course, so I'll try and do the same tomorrow.
But I felt like I started swinging better, better than yesterday, so hope just keep improving on that.
Q. Last one: Just one stroke behind Justin going into tomorrow. What's the mindset? What's the focus?
ERNIE ELS: Yeah, I mean, Justin is obviously playing well, you know, he's up. Let's see what happens tomorrow. Let's see conditions.
But just want to play solid golf, stay in it. Got a bit of a run here today, but, you know, it's going to be a tough day and he's a tough competitor. So are about ten other guys within three shots.
You know, try and get going and shoot a good score.
