Q. Sepp, how would you characterize that round today?
SEPP STRAKA: I played really well. I gave myself a good chance on the last few holes. Yeah, it was close, but I gave myself a good chance, and overall I'm really happy with it.
Q. Talk us through the second shot on 18.
SEPP STRAKA: We were between an 8 and 9-iron, and the wind is kind of playing tricks with us. It was kind of helping a little bit at times and then kind of just straight up the right.
So I actually hit the 8-iron and played it straight up the right, and I think it just caught a gust. It didn't get to the green. We took a longer club, and it still didn't make it.
You're going to have that out here. That's part of the challenge out here. Unfortunately, it didn't cover.
Q. I'm guessing a lot of positives to take from a really good week this spring.
SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, I played really well leading into this tournament. I had a good feeling coming into this week. Played pretty well last week at Augusta at times, but really kind of put it all together this week.
Unfortunately, I'm going to fall just a little short.
Q. What do you feel like is some of the reasons why you are having the success that you're having, kind of more on a week-to-week basis now?
SEPP STRAKA: I'd say just consistency. I've been really consistent in my practice and really consistent in the preparation that's kind of paid off a lot. I feel like I'm not having those 3-over, 4-over rounds that kind of put me out of the tournament that I used to have as much.
I feel like I've been playing good golf, and everything's working right now.
