Q. Xander, nice start. Can we get some comments on your round?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Solid. Got off to a good start and played pretty, I guess, boring, which is good, on the way in. Overall just pretty happy with the start.
Q. You haven't had much -- you played here before?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Three times.
Q. So what was it -- obviously you're kind of -- I'm not saying forced to be here, but convinced that this was a good idea to be here. So what do you think of the golf course in general? Does it meet what you would normally play?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: It should. I've kind of had my head in the sand every time I've been here. Probably it's always after a major, so a little bit more tired.
So now that I'm a little bit older, I think I can handle it a little bit better maybe.
Yeah, the greens are concrete. You have to hit your spots. You've got to be smart around the property. It should be a place where I play well, and I just haven't done it. So why not start now?
Q. Sort of random, but doing a story on the popularity of the walk and talk CBS has done, obviously even last week. Is that something you're open to? Is that a good idea? It seems like people have responded.
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, I'm not doing it.
Q. You're not going to do it?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: No.
Q. And why?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: I just --
Q. Don't want to be interrupted?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, yeah. That's pretty much it, yeah. I think it's really good for the guys who want to do it. Like you said, it's got really good feedback, and I think it's good insight into what we do.
That's why there's plenty of us out here who will do it and plenty who won't as well. That's why I'm on that side of the fence.
Q. Have you been approached?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yes.
Q. And you explained it to them?
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: Yeah, I just don't think I can get myself to do it. It's just distracting to me personally.
Q. When you see something like Rory doing it at the Masters and then missing the cut, does that kind of --
XANDER SCHAUFFELE: You can't hang the hat on that. I know he's not. I don't know. Max did it and won at Torrey. Like you said, it kind of just goes whichever way.
I think, if you're willing to do it, you're going to be fine doing it for a hole. It doesn't matter where you are, if you're in a major or not. It's just kind of a personal deal.
