Q. Assess your round for us if you can.
JON RAHM: What part of the round? I feel like there was a before and after. You know, it was what it was. It wasn't anything -- nothing was particularly good. Nothing was particularly awful. I would have been happy pretty much with anything under par, but it just wasn't to be.
I wish I could have made a couple more short putts. Pace of the greens was not good. Had the pace been good, I think today could have been an under-par round, which is a good start.
Q. You talked yesterday about trying to get -- maybe start building after the first round. You kind of got that one under your belt. Do you feel like you can build tomorrow on the second round?
JON RAHM: I don't know. I felt worse after I've said that every day, so I don't know. I'm hoping tonight is the day where I start turning things back around and start feeling a little bit better.
I hate to make excuses, but a couple of the swings towards the end were my body being tired and surprised me. The one on 16, I lost one shot right there just because of a really bad swing.
I think for the most part I did a pretty good job. With the rain and all, it could have been a lot worse, been very ugly. We've got it started. Just three days to make it back. Supposed to have good weather tomorrow morning, so hopefully I can take advantage of it.
Q. I assume it helps to get it in?
JON RAHM: Yeah, I would have not been happy if we couldn't finish, like if we had to play another 30 holes tomorrow. That wasn't the plan. Hopefully the weather is good tomorrow. Get a little bit better and keep it going.
