Q. What was the biggest difference today from last week in your game?
RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, last week on the first day, I really was thinking too much technically about my swing. I had a couple things I was working on, and instead of going and playing golf, I kind of carried that into the round, and that's never worked for me.
I don't make that mistake very often, but I did last week. Friday I played a lot better and a lot more free. Really not free, just more clear-headed and less thoughts in my head.
Yeah, I feel like my game has been there. Sometimes we can get in our own way a little bit.
Q. What was working so well specifically today in your game?
RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, I had a couple good breaks, but I putted great, had a couple good saves. The first hole I made a great save for par. Kind of a sloppy tee shot. If I hit it in trouble, I managed to make a par. Yeah, just going to try to clean up the driver just a little bit and just continue to putt like that would be great.
Q. Was Harbour Town pretty gettable this morning judging by some of the scores?
RUSSELL HENLEY: I think it's gettable if you kind of know the golf course and you hit quality shots. I think it was definitely gettable. I think there's some times when the wind blows a lot here where I don't feel like it's gettable at all. It's very difficult and tricky. The wind needs to be down for this place to be gettable for sure.
