Q. What was working best for you today?
GARY WOODLAND: I chipped it nice. I was a little off ball-striking wise. This golf course will force you to hit different shots. It forces you to work it both ways probably as much as any golf course we play all year, and I was a little off with that today, but man, I chipped it nice. Even thought I didn't hit it well, I left it in the right spots. I missed the greens in the right spots and gave myself a lot of chances to chip it in, and fortunately I did there on 15 for eagle, which was nice. It's nice when I can -- I'm starting to chip it a lot better than I have probably in my career. Kind of figured some things out, and it's kind of freed me up a little bit, which is nice.
Q. Is this a little bit of going back to Randy?
GARY WOODLAND: He just simplified -- he has tweaked my wedges a little bit. We've done some different grinds and some different bends, and it's just given me a little more forgiveness. It's been really nice.
Q. Do you feel like you have momentum?
GARY WOODLAND: I do, a lot. I've been playing well for a while, and I just haven't got any results. I haven't put it all together. My team has been telling me, it's coming, it's close, it's close, and sometimes that's hard to hear week in, week out.
But Houston was a massive deal for me. Obviously I would have liked to finish one shot better, but that was a massive deal to see results, to do it on Sunday. It definitely gave me a lot of confidence, which I needed. That's been the one thing that's missing for me the last couple years is confidence. The game, like I said, is coming back, but I need -- sometimes you need to see the results, and it was nice to finally see them.
Q. I know this probably means nothing to you because you're a golfer who plays outdoors all the time, but has there been a sweeter walk than what we had out there?
GARY WOODLAND: It's hard to beat. The weather is perfect. The golf course is awesome. You're by the water. Everyone is excited to be here. The people are so nice. This is underrated one of the better events out here.
Q. It's hard to be grumpy today, isn't it?
GARY WOODLAND: It is hard to be grumpy. I'm sure if you asked my caddie, I found a shot or two to be grumpy, but this is a special week.
