Q. What didn't go right today for you?
JUSTIN THOMAS: I didn't make enough birdies. I didn't hit the ball as well today. Got a couple of bad breaks, which is a bummer. I laid that ball up pretty nice there on 11 and just right into a hole there at the end of the fairway. That's one I'm usually licking my chops, kind of pitching off the green. And then I was just, pretty much just trying to figure out how to hit the green.
But everybody had to play in the same conditions, so it's not like I was the only one that was dealing with that on the golf course. It just, I didn't execute when I needed to.
Q. Overall, what do you take away from what you did this week?
JUSTIN THOMAS: I mean, a lot. I didn't really do anything at all today and I very easily could have won the tournament. I mean, good drive on 18, and I have a wedge in there and could be in this playoff just as easily.
But a lot to build on a, lot of positives, and we got a big stretch coming up, so I'm excited for it.
Q. I was going to ask you about that, if you take the positives out of this stretch here where, I know you're disappointed you haven't won, but yet there have been good results or close --
JUSTIN THOMAS: Yeah, I mean it's coming, I just got to be patient and be in the right frame of mind because you can't force anything in this game. As soon as I start doing that you get down some rabbit holes.
I'm doing a lot of really, really good things. I just need to keep putting myself there and it will start happening.
Q. You've been a pretty big advocate of Davis for awhile, now he's going to go into a playoff, he narrowly missed there. What do you say about his game?
JUSTIN THOMAS: Yeah, it's incredible. He's a great player, it just shows a lot, no matter what happens today it was a great week, huge learning experience for him, so hopefully he'll get it done.
