Q. Just to start, tell us about your round, what was going well for you today?
CHANDLER PHILLIPS: First 10 holes was really solid, really good. Then, 11, kind of just, I 3-putted the par-5 for par.
Then 12 I didn't get up-and-down from the bunker when it was actually a bunker shot that I was really feeling good about, that I could possibly make.
Then 18, just a dumb mistake. Got it past the hole and finished the day at 1-under. Solid playing. I'm not mad at it. I hit it a lot better today. I just didn't make any putts. But I'm not mad at it, because I hit a lot of really good putts, and I didn't put myself where I can't have a possibility tomorrow.
Q. Given that your game's in good shape, are you encouraged for tomorrow?
CHANDLER PHILLIPS: Yeah, absolutely. I wish we were going right now. But, yeah, I don't know what else to say. I am ready for tomorrow. Hopefully, I can sleep a little bit better than I did last night. Yeah, just try and go have fun.
Q. You spent a lot of the day either in the lead, battling for the lead, tied, what was that like for you?
CHANDLER PHILLIPS: I try not to think about it too much. Just trying to play my game. Where I end up at the end of the day is where I end up. I don't want to be looking at the scoreboard all day and let that predict where I'm going to be. So, I try not to look at it as much as I can, but sometimes it's kind of hard when it's just staring at you in your face, you know. But, you know, three back going into tomorrow, closest I've ever been to the lead in a PGA TOUR event, so I can't complain.
Q. Back in the day at A & M did you and Cameron used to talk about a day like this, you guys hunting down big trophies?
CHANDLER PHILLIPS: Yeah, I mean, he actually texted me last night and he said, Good playing, and I told him, you know, Good playing, too, come and join me. And I think we're at the same right now. But, yeah, no, Cam's one of my best friends. We were roommates for three years in college. Yeah, I don't know if we'll be paired together, but that would be awesome. Actually, it will probably help me, because I'll feel like it's just another round at home.
