Q. 4-under, 67 today. 4-under on the back nine.
BROOKS KOEPKA: Felt like I found fairways. I was striking the ball really well, and yeah, I had good numbers. That was a big thing. Yesterday I felt like I was in between the numbers all day. Yeah, I'm just excited to give myself a little better opportunity going into the weekend.
Q. What's the game plan going into the weekend?
BROOKS KOEPKA: Just keep doing what I'm doing. Playing well, like the way I'm striking it. Fixed a little bit of what was going on with the driver yesterday. Hitting on that range straight down hill into the wind, sometimes you try to cheat it a little bit. But everything felt good, it clicked today. I just would have liked to have had that one at the last, that one is going to bug me for the next 30 minutes, but I'll get over it.
Q. How comfortable do you feel on this course, especially after having not played it for a couple years?
BROOKS KOEPKA: We played it a bunch growing up when we were kids, Florida junior tour events. I played it probably 10 times as a junior. So I mean, it's only about almost four hours from my house, so we used to play events here a lot. So I feel comfortable, I know the golf course, it really hasn't changed and just got to put it in play.
Q. You picked up some momentum in the Florida Swing, is that, has that just been a matter of getting more reps in or is it a state you feel really comfortable in?
BROOKS KOEPKA: No, I just think it's more reps. First week just wanted to make the cut and kind of get it over with. Then Phoenix just kind of exposed how bad the putting was. I was able to fix that, correct that, and made some adjustments and here we are.
Q. How do you feel heading into the weekend in contention, what are you going to focus on?
BROOKS KOEPKA: Just put the driver in play. If I can drive it as well as I did today I'll give myself a good chance. Just putted a little better. I think the greens are starting to firm up a little bit, which is nice. I like the way that it's playing versus how it was playing yesterday.
