Q. Ben, a 65 today. How pleased are you with the round?
BEN MARTIN: Yeah, it was a great start. I think I have a lot of momentum going. I had a nice week last week at Quail Hollow. Made a few pars to start the day and three birdies in the row on the front nine and kept the momentum going.
Q. What was it about last week that seemed to click and how were you able to maintain that going into another week on TOUR?
BEN MARTIN: I think I live hour and a half from Quail Hollow in Charlotte, so it's always great to play around the hometown fans. So I think I just sort of drew off that and sort of had a good feeling with my game from the driver to the approach to the short game and the putter.
So I did everything pretty well last week and had a lot of confidence coming in.
Q. Had you had much experience on this course specifically?
BEN MARTIN: I played here in 2012 in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, but didn't really remember a lot of the holes. I got to come out and play nine holes Tuesday and nine in the pro-am and kind of refamiliarize myself with the course. With the rain we had it was pretty soft, and as you can see from the scoreboard it was gettable.
Q. Absolutely. Congratulations on a great day and good luck the rest of the week.
BEN MARTIN: Thank you.
