Q. Bryson, I know you said you have high expectations for yourself. This wasn't necessarily your ideal round, but what are your takeaways from the day.
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: That I played really bad.
Q. Okay. And what do you think led to that?
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Just things just didn't go my way today. I hit it really well, putted pretty well. Putts didn't go in and the wind turned on me a couple times and just unlucky.
Q. The course conditions are pretty gettable today.
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Yeah, crazy.
Q. When they're like that, do you feel pressure to get after it?
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: For sure. I left three par-5s, they were all reachable for me. I doubled one and I hit two great shots off the start and then got into a really bad lie, so of that's five shots.
And 7 I didn't get it -- or 6 I didn't get it up and down, so I left six shots out there. Could have shot 9-under like nothing. Didn't even make anything out there.
Q. When you leave the course today, are you going to think through all those shots or what is where you mental...
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Just trying to get my game to a place where just more comfortable than today and hit a couple golf balls and get my putting on the line and get comfortable with the speed. It was slower than last week. If I can do those two things and chip it a little bit better, I'll be fine.
Q. All right. Well best of luck. Thanks, Bryson. Have a good night.
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Thanks.
