Q. Just curious, what did you do with your day yesterday with the rain?
TOMMY MORRISON: Yeah, not much. I got out here from like 7:00 to 9:00, practiced a little bit, and then sat on the couch for a while, watched a movie, and made some lunch.
Q. You made the cut at The Open last year, low amateur. What were your takeaways from that experience?
MICHAEL THORBJORNSEN: Yeah, it was amazing. I had an awesome week at Troon. I was kind of starstruck early in the week. Played some nice practice rounds with some big names and had some crowds and got comfortable quickly.
Then chipped and putted really well that week and managed to play four rounds of golf in my first major, which was really nice.
Q. You played with Jordan Spieth and Christo Lamprecht on Tuesday. How was that?
TOMMY MORRISON: It was awesome. I knew Christo a little bit in amateur golf. Got to know Jordan a little bit. Both have been really nice to me. Really good to see them out here. I'm glad we could share some time together.
Q. I know tough finish to the round. You had John Fields out there, head coach.
TOMMY MORRISON: Yeah.
Q. That Longhorn legacy, what's it like and what's it mean to have them out here?
TOMMY MORRISON: Means everything to have them out here. I know they made the drive late last night and I think Coach woke up at like 4:30 and drove this morning. That's so nice of them.
It was really nice to see them out there supporting, and I hope they know I would do the same for them. I love those guys.
Q. Texas heading into the postseason I believe for the 17th consecutive year. Thoughts on that?
TOMMY MORRISON: Yeah, it's really impressive. Coach Fields has done an amazing job with the program. Been fortunate enough to play in two National Championships with the guys. We have had some really good teams. I think this year we're just as good as we've ever been. Really exciting. I know the guys are playing well, too.
