Quick Quotes

Q. Tyler, rough way to start the day, but you rebounded pretty nicely. Overall how to you feel about how things worked out on the course?

TYLER STRAFACI: I felt good. I had a good warmup. I just got out there and I couldn't draw it first five holes. I was kind of hitting a weak right shot.

Just kind of started playing with a cut and made a couple birdies on the front, and actually hit it really well on the back side.

So all in all, I fought pretty hard and I think I'm still in a decent spot with how I started.

Q. So your first day as a professional. How did it feel coming out here? Feel any different than any other golf round?

TYLER STRAFACI: Not really.

Q. Anything like that?

TYLER STRAFACI: No. Once you kind of get inside the ropes it's just kind of you're just competitive. You're trying to do as well as I can. Obviously it's different, but, I mean, there is not really a noticeable difference.

Q. Have you had a chance this week to kind of appreciate the transition that you've made from an amateur to a professional?

TYLER STRAFACI: Yeah, it's been -- a little bit. I mean, I kind of -- after the Walker Cup just kind of see what you did as an amateur, but not really. You kind of get right back in it at the same time.

So it's kind of I'm -- I started my job today, so it was a pretty cool feeling.

I think I made the right choice.

Q. And so basically when you're out on the golf course nothing changes other than whether or not you have an A behind your name?

TYLER STRAFACI: Yeah, exactly. It's still golf. You're still trying to get the ball in the hole as quick agriculture possible. Nothing really changes.

Q. Congrats on your first day at work and we hope things continue to get better.

TYLER STRAFACI: Thank you. I appreciate that.
