Quick Quotes

Q. Joined now by PGA TOUR Senior Tournament Director, Ken Tackett. We battled some weather earlier in the week here in McKinney Texas. Ken, what went into the decision to shift the tee times for the final round?

KEN TACKETT: Well, tomorrow we're expecting some significant weather coming in in the area between 10:00 and 3:00, and we if want to get everything wrapped up on Sunday, just made sense to go and do tees early, 7:00 to 9:00 off 1 and 10.

Q. How optimistic are you that play will be able to conclude without any delays tomorrow?

KEN TACKETT: I'm a very optimistic person, and that is part of the plan, is by doing so, it gives us a chance to play golf. If we need to stop because of lighting, depending on how much time, you know about 13 and a half hours of daylight from sunrise to sunset, and so it gives us the best chance to get done tomorrow.

We just don't know exactly what we're going to be dealt. Maybe it's just a couple hours. Maybe it's four hours of lightning. We'll just play when we can play and we'll start tomorrow morning.

Q. Finally, I know we played preferred lies round one. Did I hear correctly that's the a plan in place for the final round?

KEN TACKETT: Yeah, with the predicted rainfall a half inch to an inch on conservative side, up to two inches in some of the local forecasts, so by playing preferred lies it gives us a chance to play when the conditions might otherwise prohibit us from playing.

We'll have good opportunity with preferred lies.
