Quick Quotes

Q. 7-under par, 65. For the most part that was a ball-striking clinic. A little bit disappointed with so many missed opportunities out there?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, a few missed opportunities, but 7-under not really putting really good is a pretty good score.

Q. You made triple bogey early on yesterday to be 2-under par for the tournament, you're 14-under par for your last 31 holes. You got to be pretty proud of the way you fought since.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, especially I haven't really seen the ball go in very much, which is frustrating because you got to make putts out here to shoot low scores, and I fought my way kind of back into the tournament but I need a hot putter tomorrow if I want to make some noise.

Q. Four wins this year, world No. 1, Masters champion. How differently are you approaching tournaments now compared to 12 months ago, now that you're the man to bet?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Not at all. Just because you're No. 1 or No. 10 you don't get any extra strokes, so not much changes for me.
