Quick Quotes

Q. Nice 66 out there from you today. What did you like most about your round?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Overall my mental game was really good. I got off to a good start and kind of kept pushing. I didn't let, even though the playing partners weren't playing as good in the beginning, I kind of kept up the pace and put up the good numbers and then Ryan followed pretty good.

So I think it was good, both of us kind of feed a little off each other, knowing that there's a lot more guys in this tournament than what it looks like and just happy to be in the position I am for tomorrow.

Q. Describe that bunker shot on 6.

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Just, I don't know, I've been working on my bunker game for a little bit now and, I don't know, it just kind of looked like one of those that I practice a lot, so when I saw it and I just kind of the felt that it was going to be a good shot.

Q. After you made that, Joaquin was in the group ahead of you on 7 and after he hit his shot I saw you two sort of exchange glances, you kind of gave him almost a kind of a sheepish, sorry I knocked it in type of thing. What kind of friendship do you guys have together and how comfortable is that pairing going to be tomorrow being able to be play with him?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Yeah, it's great. We have a great friendship, I believe it's a true one. He kind of was giving me some claps and blowing some kisses, just keep it friendly between us.

And that's kind of what I like about our group, like our group of friends, that we just kind of encourage each other to push a little harder, go a little further, prove ourselves a little more, get in that spot. So I think it's going to be quite fun tomorrow.

Q. You live here, you went to college here, but you're going to be kind of the other local guy in the final group tomorrow, are you cool with that?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: Yeah, I mean I've been -- I mean besides winning in Bogota, Columbia I never been the favorite of any other place. So it's a familiar spot, I mean Jordan is, of course, is the golden boy here, so everyone's favorite. I'm good friends with him, so it's going to be a lot of fun tomorrow.

Q. What kind of experience do you think it will be, will it be a different experience because of the crowd and things like that or be something you're kind of used to?

SEBASTIAN MUNOZ: No, I feel like I've been out here quite some time now, I've been on some final parings. I mean Dallas is probably going to pack it up, but I think we're ready for whatever they shoot, we'll just try to do our best, that's all we can do.
