Q. Solid round for you today. What was working with your game and what's going to give you some confidence going into the rest of the tournament?
RYAN FOX: To be honest everything was kind of working today. I drove it nicely. Which I think is important round here. If you hit it in the rough it's hard to control your ball. Hit my irons great. Gave myself a lot of chances. While I missed a couple of short ones, especially one on the last, I actually did hole some nice putts as well today. A little bit of give and take in that regard. Felt like I hit a lot of good putts that kind of didn't go in. I can take a lot of confidence from that and kind of try to do the same thing tomorrow.
Q. You mentioned the conditions changing, so how did you adjust through your round to adapt to the change in the weather?
RYAN FOX: The ball probably wasn't going that far early. Once it warmed up a little bit around sort of 9:30, 10 o'clock it just started going normal distance. That was the only thing we had to really think about. It made it tricky with the wind out there. It kind of felt like it was blowing from a few different directions. Just, you kind of, at the time when you hit it, you know, you could hit a shot that felt like it was down and it might have just switched off the right, and vice versa. Me and my caddie managed that really well today. Hit a lot of decent iron shots and hopefully I can do same thing tomorrow.
Q. In your opinion what was your best shot of the day?
RYAN FOX: Best shot of the day? Nothing that was like amazing in that sense, I just hit a lot of really, really good ones. Probably the one that the most important one of the day I holed probably a 20-footer for par on 13 after hitting an average tee shot. Certainly not a spectacular shot by any stretch, but it kept the momentum going. A bogey there would have been a bit painful. Holing a 20-footer is, yeah, it's always, for par, is always really nice.
Q. What's the game plan to keep the momentum going into tomorrow?
RYAN FOX: For the rest of the day, not do much. Really happy with where the game's at. This is my sixth week in a row, so I'm running on fumes at the moment. So, go get some physio, have a bit of a rest. I feel like my game's in pretty decent shape, just go out there tomorrow and get out of my own way, try to hit a few greens and give myself plenty of chances, and hope the putter works.
Q. A couple weeks back, talking with Bobby Mac, he said playing with Foxy is always great for the mind. I wanted to kind of get your thoughts, you obviously made the adjustment to America, what does it mean to be able top to be there for the DP World Tour guys as they kind of try to make that adjustment as well?
RYAN FOX: Yeah, there's a bit of camaraderie between us. Obviously it's a bit new for us, coming over here, and it can be a little bit hard to break into some social circles. Yeah, getting to play with Bob a few weeks ago we just basically said on the first tee, let's just go have some fun, talk a bit of stuff basically. We both played really well that week. I enjoy myself out on the golf course. I like talking and playing with someone like that who I know really well is always nice. I think the DP World Tour guys I think going forward probably need to do that, spend a bit of time together. We know each other really well. I spent several years with most of the guys that have made it over. We probably need to socialize a little bit more and make it a bit more like it is in Europe. I think everyone tends to go their own way a little bit here, whereas in Europe I think everyone kind of stays in the same place, it's a little more social. Yeah, if we can make it that way I think it will probably help all of us going forward.
