Quick Quotes

Q. (No Microphone.)

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, felt like I hit a really good second shot in there and I was only, I came up a few yards short. It was such a tricky lie. Naturally, you kind of, you have to hit those ones hard. But you're always kind of reluctant to, because if it does come out then it's going a long way. Yeah, just came out a little bit more dead than I would have liked it. It left quite a nice putt though, in fairness. It was just a little bit up the hill. I was trying to hit it about a cup outside left. Yeah, I was very happy to see that one die in on the left side.

Q. Talk to me about after the 8th hole. Did you, what did you, was your mindset like, All right, I just had the worst thing that could possibly happen to me on this golf course on 8. What did you say to yourself?

TYRRELL HATTON: I was pretty headless, to be honest. I was really, I mean, it was a bad tee shot. But it wasn't, it didn't deserve to be in the water. Then, yeah, just made a mess of that in the end.

Then on 9, nice pin position and I missed the green way left with a 9-iron. Yeah, I was saying all sorts of things to myself walking up before playing that bunker shot. Yeah, it was nice to hit that one really close. It was a tough shot.

But I holed a lot of putts today. Gave myself a lot of chances. So, yeah, pretty, I'm proud of the fight that I put up and, yeah, there's still some birdie holes left, so we'll see how it plays out.

Q. How will you spend this time? Will you watch on TV, will you be looking for updates, how will you spend this time?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I'm going to go find my wife and, yeah, and then we'll try and find a quiet spot with the TV and watch the rest of the golf.
