C.T. Pan

Quick Quotes

Q. Playing in the final group today. What are your thoughts on the week?

C.T. PAN: It's still a very good week considering I switched at three hotels first. I did not sleep well the first couple nights. But considering that, I still played great out there. I was able to recover a lot of my, get a lot of good sleep starting on Wednesday. So pretty happy with that. Final grouping was probably my first time on Sundays. So it was my first experience. Did not start well, but a lot of lessons to learn from that.

Q. What's going to be the biggest takeaways from this week?

C.T. PAN: That's a good one. I will think about that for the next couple days. But like I said, it's still a good week. I played solid. I gave myself a lot of opportunities out there on the back nine. That's all you can do.

Q. You spoke about first time playing in that final group. What were certain things that you learned about yourself playing in the mix in contention?

C.T. PAN: I was nervous. And that's good. That means I care a lot. Just having a hard time to find my rhythm and a lot of in between club distances on the front nine or the first 14 holes. Even the read is kind of tough. Just can't leave myself in a bad spot, even for the birdie putts. So just kind of hard to read. But that's just, it's a nonstop working, learning process in golf. So I will keep learning.

Q. First time back to the Canadian Open after a little bit of a break. What were the fans like?

C.T. PAN: They were great. They're absolutely great. The vibe is great. I made a birdie at the Rink. That was really cool. I think the guys, I see a lot of crowds out there and I really enjoyed it very much. Just want to say I love their passion.
