KEN TANIGAWA: Thanks, John. Boy, a little lost for words. It's been a long time since 2019 to be in this position.
Time goes by and you wonder if you can win again. To be able to do it, just over the moon.
Q. Where did you go to dinner Friday night, because something happened between Friday and Saturday?
KEN TANIGAWA: You know, we gotten to become good friends with the Portiers, Francois and Diana, (phonetic) we've been staying at their home and just incredible. They open it up, their home, to us and they're just unbelievable friends.
Yeah, jeez, they cooked for us. Just unreal. What a week.
Q. What happened yesterday that got it going?
KEN TANIGAWA: Boy, I just holed putts. I mean, you're a golfer, you know, right? You start making putts and then you start feeling it, and they just started going in.
Obviously the one helped, and who expects that, right? But then I hit in the trees on the next hole so my feet got to the ground real quick after that.
It's just putting. I made some putts and I missed a couple today, but made some good ones as well.
Q. Talk about the one at 17.
KEN TANIGAWA: Yeah, that was a bit unexpected. It was whatever it was, 20 feet, I don't know, but it was just a little -- maybe a ball, two balls out on the right. You just try to put a good roll on it and try to get it online, and from that distance who knows. Lucky it went in.
Q. How do you keep the attitude? 123 starts since the last one.
KEN TANIGAWA: Boy, is that how many?
Q. Sorry, I didn't mean to...
KEN TANIGAWA: I guess I should pinch myself for being able to play that many events out here.
It's just amazing to be out here and play and get to know the guys and the camaraderie out here and to be able to play golf this these amazing places, I mean, it's a treat.
Q. Came out to cheer you on. What a crowd.
KEN TANIGAWA: Unbelievable, right? It's the Calgary fans, and they really support this event here in town. Yeah, just unreal. I'm lost for words, but it's just an amazing time.
