Q. First round but career best 60 and a shot for a 59. How did you feel about today?
ADAM SVENSSON: Yeah, it was great. Hit my irons extremely well. Had a lot of good looks. I didn't feel like I putted that great, but they just kind of snuck in. It was just one of those days.
Q. What's it like to have one of those days, kind of effortless or putts you didn't think would drop are falling in?
ADAM SVENSSON: Yeah, the eagle putt I had coming in there, I thought it was going to go left and it went right and went in. You've got to get a little bit lucky here and there.
But overall I played very well.
Q. When did it come on your mind that there is a chance for a 59 during the round?
ADAM SVENSSON: To be honest, I thought it was a par-72, so I didn't even think about it really.
Q. When did you realize it was par-71?
ADAM SVENSSON: Until I signed my scorecard. No idea.
Q. So nothing on 18, talking to your caddie or --
ADAM SVENSSON: No, nothing.
Q. First-time course, no one knew what kind of scoring would happen today. Did you think a 60 was conceivable?
ADAM SVENSSON: Yes and no. I mean, everyone is so good out here, you just never know.
It's just one of those rounds where everything just comes together. It just kind of happens.
Q. How do you take this round and reset for tomorrow going off in the morning?
ADAM SVENSSON: Yeah, just kind of feel like I didn't shoot 60 yesterday and just kind of keep plugging along. The fairways are fairly easy to hit out here, so you just kind of have to put your approach shots near the hole and give yourself some looks.
Q. A lot of players have been saying this is kind of risk-reward, so how do you navigate the course with that mindset?
ADAM SVENSSON: It's all how I'm feeling that day, if I'm not feeling great in my swing or something I'll kind of play away from flags and stuff. But today I was feeling great and just kind of went at everything.
