Q. Michael, congratulations. Let's talk about this day. Many times on the PGA TOUR a player with the lead will hit the first tee and that lead is a weight because of the pressure.
Today you seemed calm and comfortable all day. How would you describe the belief you had in this final round?
MICHAEL BRENNAN: Yeah, I was probably more nervous eating breakfast this morning; a little nervous coming down 18.
But it feels amazing. I get that belief from my family and friends, my team. I mean, Jeff, my caddie believes in me I think more than anyone, maybe other than my parents.
He told me ever since we played a great year we're not going to the Korn Ferry Tour, whether it was, I don't know through something like this or Q-School. I can't believe he's right.
Q. You mentioned your parents. They walked the whole way. They were watching. Your friends and fellow members at the River Creek Club in Virginia were watching. The world was watching as you became a PGA TOUR winner today. What does it feel like to have that dream come true?
MICHAEL BRENNAN: Yeah, it really hasn't set in. It's an amazing feeling, really an amazing feeling. Winning golf tournaments is one of the better feelings in the world. I mean, it takes a lot to play professional golf, and I just have such a great team behind me.
Q. Not many people knew your name three, four months ago. You won on PGA TOUR Americans in August and September, and now you've won on the PGA TOUR in October. Whether it's mentally mechanically, strategically, what do you feel like you elevated in your game?
MICHAEL BRENNAN: Yeah, a lot of mental maybe fortitude or focus has gotten a lot better. Definitely been some technical things that have improved a lot around the green and on the green. I think that showed this week. Feel like I was pretty good around the greens. But a lot of belief in my game that I'm capable, and, yeah, probably that.
Q. Your parents are waiting. Go embrace that. Congratulations on winning on the PGA TOUR.
MICHAEL BRENNAN: Thank you.
