Q. Stephan, 8-under 63, excellent round. If we could get some comments on your play.
STEPHAN JAEGER: Honestly it was nothing crazy. I hit it nice off the tee. Hit some wedges close and birdied the par-5s for much of it.
I got lucky on 18. I kind of hit it in the rocks and it came out, and I ended up with a birdie. That's the only one that I would call it a hiccup in a sense, but I took advantage of the good break for sure.
Q. You had 6 of 6 scrambling today, I believe. Just comment on that.
STEPHAN JAEGER: Honestly, two of those were decently long putts, so I didn't really chip it that great on those two. But I also left it in some nice spots that you can kind of get stymied pretty hard here when you hit it in the wrong spots.
I kind of, if I missed the greens, I would miss in the right spot and leave myself a pretty easy chip.
Q. Talk to us about your comfort level here, 2nd in 2024, T-11 last year. You obviously like this place a lot.
STEPHAN JAEGER: I do. I don't really know, it's one of those golf courses where everybody is going to hit it kind of in the same spot, and you've got to play from there. I like the greens. I was kind of reading them well, so that helps a lot.
Yeah, I like the area, which also kind of makes you feel good about the week for sure.
Q. You're No. 83 in the FedExCup fall standings. Talk to us a little bit about what you're hoping to gain out of the fall.
STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, some reps, I think most importantly. Kind of did some changes after not making it to the playoffs this year. Just kind of getting reps in that and getting some nice -- seeing some good results. I felt I played okay in Asheville. I didn't putt well enough there.
It's good to see kind of some good stuff coming. I'm excited to play a couple more in the fall for sure.
