Q. Johnny, quite a day for you and Haotong out there. Just get some comments on first of all your 62.
JOHNNY KEEFER: Yeah, it was good day. Hit it much better today than I did yesterday. Saw some putts go in from Haotong, so I didn't want him running away too much. We birdied a lot of the same holes so it was kind of good to see putts go in and have some good vibes out there.
Q. Both 10-under playing the last hole. What was the competition like for you out on the last one?
JOHNNY KEEFER: Wasn't really like -- I mean, it was friendly competition. Obviously I don't want him to beat me, he doesn't want me to beat him, but we were kind of cheering each other on all day. We were just having some fun. Haotong is so much fun to play with. Played with him a few times this year and every time is a blast.
Q. Take us through that ninth hole for you, only slip-up today.
JOHNNY KEEFER: Yeah, like I said, yesterday went very good with the ball striking. Today I managed it a lot better, but every now and then I would have a shot or something where it would be a little off. On tee box I just kind of didn't really hit a great shot; soared left, so I knew I was kind of in trouble.
Yeah, just kind of how it goes. Just hit a really good shot just to get on the fringe and give myself a chance, but, you know, overall really happy with the day.
Q. Take us through the eagle right before that though.
JOHNNY KEEFER: Yeah, that was real nice. Hit the same club off the tee, so stripped the 3-wood had about 207 in. Wind was a little in of the left and hit really, really pure 7-iron to about five, six feet and, you know, the read was pretty simple pretty straight, so just hit it dead center and stayed there.
Q. Thoughts on tomorrow?
JOHNNY KEEFER: Yeah, obviously I needed a day like today to just kind of get myself a little bit back in the mix. So glad I could do that and just going to go out and kind of the same plan tomorrow. You know being see what's working, see if I can get a few more birdies and hopefully play look I did today.
