Q. Ben, your group was consistent today. Three 65s. If we can get some comments on your play and also the conditions out there.
BEN KOHLS: Yeah, happy with the day. Played solid. Took advantage of par-5s, which like I said yesterday, is something you got to do out here on this course.
Happy with the day. Definitely compared to yesterday afternoon the course was a lot more receptive with playing a little bit earlier in the day. Maybe some rain overnight. I don't know if it rained or not.
Yeah, course seemed to be a little more gettable. I'm sure you saw that with the scores. Yeah, it seems to be kind of a shootout. We got couple guys right up there. Luckily the horn just blew and we're all done, so it's all good in here.
Q. Take us through the eagle on three.
BEN KOHLS: Yeah, hit a really nice 4-iron in there. Kind of had to take a little off and hit a little cut shot in there and it came off perfect. Landed in the middle of the green, rolled out about ten, and I was able to make a nice 20-footer.
Q. And then take us through the last four holes, the three birdies.
BEN KOHLS: Yeah, just 15 and 17, you know, pretty reachable par-5s, so it was nice to hit good tee shots and give myself good chances. You know, like I said, I played great all day. I had I think four putts/one chip that hung on the edge literally an inch away.
So happy with how the putter is feeling and excited to go into tomorrow.
Q. Neal has got you by one right now. A little separation between you guys and the rest of the field. What will the game plan being tomorrow?
BEN KOHLS: Yeah, I mean, attack. You know, pedal down. I think you're seeing some really good scores, so depending on when we play, I would imagine you're going to see probably the same tomorrow. I don't know if it's going to rain. Might get some more rain tonight.
That will only help the conditions get a little bit softer, so there is some guys shooting 10-, 9-under, obviously I had an eight yesterday, and I think there were a bunch sizes and sevens today. Still got to go out there and shoot a good round to give yourself a chance.
Q. What would a win mean for you?
BEN KOHLS: Yeah, it would mean a lot. Like I said, we all want to win every week we tee it up and it's really hard to do. I know if I stay committed to my process and commit to every shot I'm going to be happy with the results no matter what they be.
