Q. Jacob, congratulations. The first one on the Tour is always special. That happened earlier this year. What does this one mean to you, close to where you grew up, family and friends around to watch this thing today. How does it feel?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, this one is special. The first one was really special because it was my first and it was such is big event and to win Tiger's event was amazing and a dream come true.
This one feels a little bit different. A little closer to home. Had a lot of people here, a lot family, my wife, in-laws, parents, couple cousins here. It's just -- we had a lot of friends and family so I could hear them out there cheering. It was awesome.
Q. Take us through the day. 30 making the turn. You climbed up near the top of the leaderboard and then we talk about birdies and eagles on this golf course. Those two par putts on 11 and 12 that you made were as big as any birdie putts that I think you made on the back nine.
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, I think those putts kind of won the tournament for me. I kind of misjudged the wind on 11; hit a good shot and ended up short. Kind of unfortunately had about a 12-footer for par, and rolling that one in was huge.
Same thing on 12. Hand slipped on the tee on my driver and got in a bad spot again. Then from a plugged lie hit an amazing bunker shot to kind of same distance, 12 feet.
So just seeing the putts really well. Seeing the lines well the whole week. Those putts just looked good to my eye. Felt like I was going to make them and those were super helpful.
Q. Well, that's why you're first on the PGA Tour in strokes gain putting. For many of those reasons. Okay, finally, Presidents Cup. You get to regroup for a couple days, but now your thoughts your play and to be on the U.S. team next week?
JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, this is the reason I played this week. I wanted to prep. I practiced so hard last week and really practiced really hard in the playoffs trying to make the team. I was giving it my full effort.
I kind of used this week as a test to see if I was ready for next week, and I'm pretty pleased with how I played this week.
