COREY CONNERS: Yeah, obviously disappointed to not get the point on the team for the Internationals. I played pretty solid, a couple of shots I would have liked to do over, but we fought hard.
Definitely can take some positives from today heading into the rest of the weekend.
Q. You guys were in the match the whole way. What do you do when you're facing a guy like Cantlay, who's so hot?
COREY CONNERS: Yeah, he played really solid. He was always in the hole and always in good position. They certainly didn't give us anything on the other side. We fought our way to halve some holes, not giving them any cheap ones.
Yeah, it was a good match overall. Just wish I'd gotten a few more putts to drop.
