Q. How was that experience today? What was the expectation? Obviously it's not the result that you wanted, but you took him to 17. How are you feeling?
NICO ECHAVARRIA: Yeah, I did have my chances. The important part of the match, I kind of gave a few holes away. Came back with some good shots. Unfortunately, what happened on 14 with that fan was very unfortunate, but he gave me a 20-footer for par, which shows the character of the No. 1 in the world. He's just different. He's a good person overall. Even how good he is, he's a truly amazing guy.
I wish it would have gone to 18, but he played well. He doesn't make many mistakes. Happy with my performance. Unfortunately, it didn't make a point, but still, I'll be here to cheer on the guys.
Q. How was that chip-in on 16? Can you describe the emotions at the time?
NICO ECHAVARRIA: It's just frustrating with the amount of things that they say to you, so when you can give one back to them, it feels really good. Making that to keep the match going was very cool.
