Q. Alongside Scottie Scheffler. If anyone ever wondered what sportsmanship looks like, they probably should have taken a look at what happened with you on the 14th hole. Can you explain that from your perspective?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: To be honest with you, I don't even really want to talk about it. I think there's no real place for that in our game. I think we just leave it at that.
Q. You showed a lot of class, and we appreciate it. Ultimately did get the victory, perhaps a couple of holes later. Brandt Snedeker said last night he thought he had made some mistakes as the captain of the United States team. What's your take?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I think when you're in the position that he's in and things aren't going the way maybe you think they should have for the first couple days, I think you can second-guess all your decisions.
But I think Sneds has done a really good job putting us in a place where we can succeed, and doing a really good job of supporting the guys. I wouldn't hang his head over some of the decisions. This thing is not over.
Q. Obviously grabs headlines when he sits the World No. 1. How was yesterday afternoon from your perspective?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I mean, do you want to talk about today's match? I just played some golf out there. Do you want to talk about that?
Q. Yes, I started on 14, and then 15 happened. 16, that was a huge chip-in from Nico. A little surprising?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, he's really, really good around the greens. I wouldn't say too surprising. That ball was going to get to the hole for sure. He's a great competitor, and we had a really solid match today.
I played some really good golf, kept the golf course in front of me. I'm not sure if I missed any greens. Gave myself a lot of looks, and it was nice to get a point on the board.
