Saturday Afternoon Four-balls
Q. Can you talk about the afternoon session, how important was that and specifically your match?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: It was definitely important. Like you said, it's definitely far from over. We didn't want them to be able to win a session. So for us to get a full point here was huge, and the last match out on Saturday is always a big match, so for us to keep the momentum on our side was definitely big for the team.
Q. You came into the day with a significant lead. What kind of things has Captain Stricker been saying to you, and how do you think you'll approach tomorrow with such a substantial lead?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: We go into it with the mindset that we don't have a lead; that we are at level, even and go fight for every point. That was the message last night, and I think it played out well for us today.
Q. How pumped up were you out there?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I had a good feeling about that putt. Like I said earlier, Bryson made a massive putt on 14. Tommy was inside of him. Bryson hit a really, really good wedge shot in there and then made the putt. Huge putt to flip the match, and I kept it going.
