Sunday Singles Matches
Q. Your first ever Ryder Cup, talk about beating the No. 1 player in the world. How in the world were you able to get that done just now?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I got off to a good start today. I birdied five of the first six. Got off to a nice start. I was a three-putt at that point and kept the pressure on, and really only made one mistake on No. 12. And other than, that I kept the pressure on him the whole day.
Q. Paul Azinger was just saying that the success you've had can really make your confidence go sky-high. What can a Ryder Cup experience do for you and your career moving forward?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, this week was a lot of fun. IT was a good week for me. I played solid golf. Bryson and I paired up really well together, and I played very solid today. Definitely some confidence going forward.
I'm happy there's red on the board and it feels good.
