Q. Rory, a 5&4 victory, Fleetwood Mac, three foursomes in Ryder Cup, three wins. What makes this team just unbeatable?
RORY McILROY: I think when you've got a partner like Tommy you can play with so much freedom and so much trust in your game because you know you have someone that's going to back you up. That's the way I felt the two times we played in Rome and then today; foursomes can be a tough format.
You can start -- you can play a little tentative with the way the format is but again, knowing I have this man beside me, to bail me out if I do hit a bad shot, that's very comforting to know.
Q. Tommy. The home team has won the last five Ryder Cups by five points or more. You guys came in here with real confidence and belief that you can do this. What is fueling that belief?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: There's a lot of things fueling that belief. I think as a team there's a lot of continuity there. But yeah, we have a lot of motivation. We have a lot of belief and we know what we're playing for.
But one step at a time. I think we're all enjoying the process of this Ryder Cup so much, and we've all been so excited to play, even knowing how difficult it might be. But like I say, one step at a time and we'll just keep going all together and we'll see where we can get to.
Q. The Fleetwood Mac reunion concert has went pretty well. How much did you enjoy that?
RORY McILROY: Yeah, I've been looking forward to doing this again since that last putt dropped in Rome; so for at least since Rickie gave Tommy his putt on the 16th green.
Yeah, it's been amazing to be part of another European Ryder Cup Team, to play alongside this guy, he's one of the best players in the world. And to know that I have him by my side, it frees me up. I can play with ultimate trust and ultimate freedom, and you know, you saw a little bit of that today.
Q. And considering what has happened in the foursomes in the previous matches, how important a focus was this for you all going out?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Yeah, of course, foursomes is a very tough format. It's Friday morning of the Ryder Cup. I think we talk about fast starts a lot. I think Luke has always drilled that into us since being captain, and that's what you want to do. That's the ideal. So far, so good. But yeah, we have a lot of great players and a lot of great partnerships.
