p.m. Quick Quotes

Q. I know that was not the start you wanted. What do you take away from the day?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, the halve on the last and then the Patrick and Xander win early in the day was huge. I would say we've played 25 percent of the Ryder Cup, so we've got 75 percent to go. We've played one quarter of a basketball game. We've got a long way to go, and our boys are still in great spirits, and excited to get back out there.

Q. How much does your plan change if at all based on what happened today?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I mean, it changes a little but not much. We have a plan. We're going to stick to it. I really like how the players are falling out, and we've got to just go out there tomorrow and make a few more putts and it'll be a whole different story.

Q. What was your message to the team?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: The message to the team is things just got started. We still have a long way to go. 75 percent of the points are still available. We can just turn this thing around in one quick session. You go out tomorrow and you try to win one session, then you try to win the next one. You don't need to get all four points in one session.

Q. What did you make of the crowd today?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: It was great. This was the Bethpage stage. The 17th hole, the par-3, it really was an unbelievable day.
