Q. Luke, you are a meticulous planner but I'm not sure you would have seen this one coming, a hefty lead going into Sunday. Your thoughts?
LUKE DONALD: Super proud of the guys. It's a tough environment out there. We knew it was going to be, and seeing how much they rose against it, and they were relentless. America kept coming at us and they kept holing putts on top of the Americans. That as a captain gives you so much pleasure to see that relentlessness that they are not going to be outdone; that they were winning with excellency out there. They were just dominating everything they did.
Yeah, so, so proud of the guys.
Q. You sent three players out for their fourth match this afternoon. You could have given those guys a rest. What was that thought process behind that? Was it a case of keeping the pressure on?
LUKE DONALD: Absolutely. We don't ever -- we're never complacent about what the U.S. are going to do. They could have come out easily today and won the session 4-0 and then it's obviously game on.
We have a nice lead. But we knew that we had to come out strong in the afternoon. So we did what we thought was our strongest pairings, and it worked out well.
Q. Singles pairings are out tomorrow, leading off with Justin Rose. Give us your that process behind that one.
LUKE DONALD: JR had been just amazing this week. Something I talked to him quite a while about going No. 1 potentially, no matter what the scenario. I think we have seen how well he played the last couple days, and I'm excited to see him go out number one. That's a big honour.
Q. Still a big test tomorrow. The job's not done, only a few points needed. What will be the mindset for your team going out there?
LUKE DONALD: It's go win your match. Go win your match. Win the session and take care of business.
