Q. Before we talk about today, let's talk about yesterday. Bogey-free, 4-under 67, how pleasing is that?
OLIVER FARR: Yeah, yesterday was nice. I holed out really well yesterday. Got off to a great start and holed a couple of very nice par putts. Holed a good birdie putt, and was pretty comfortable after that, hit a lot of fairways and greens, and makes it easier to go bogey-free.
Q. So the important thing is, the following day, you follow it up because yesterday was perfect. It was a perfect day. Today you've had sun, a wind change, a bit of calm and you still played well.
OLIVER FARR: Yeah, obviously this morning, 7.40, quite a nice time on a links course, and yeah, we had lovely sunshine. I started a bit indifferent. Hit it close. Hit it bad. Hit it close. Hit it bad. Like I said after that, just settled down and hit fairways and greens. Didn't hit it close enough to make loads of birdies but I was hitting myself in a good spot all the time. It was pretty comfortable in the end.
Q. Do you like links golf?
OLIVER FARR: Yeah, I suppose being British, we play a lot of links golf growing up, top-end amateurs game, and it's always nice to come back and play links golf. We don't really play much out here. These sort of courses are always nice.
Q. Did you feel a little bit of form coming?
OLIVER FARR: I mean, I've not been playing that bad. I've just probably not been dealing well with the Tour life of COVID if I'm honest. I've got a young family and I've struggled with that.
Now coming back into the U.K., I can get home a little bit more. And yeah, I feel like my game has been there. It's just I haven't had the results. It's nice to get the results last week in Ireland and hopefully continue this week.
Q. Coming to a Rolex Series, you want to show the world that you can compete with these guys?
OLIVER FARR: Yeah, you look at the entry list came out and you see the majority of the Top-20, 30 players in the world are playing and it's great to compare yourself against them, I suppose.
But at the end of the day, Thursday comes and you're just trying to play another golf tournament. It's great that we have all the extras that the Rolex Series brings in regards to the tournament and the feel of it, but it's still another tournament.
Q. Nice to go out late on a Saturday, isn't it?
OLIVER FARR: Yes, that's always the plan.
