Q. 66, 65, 68, 14-under, leading going into the final round. Sum it up for us.
THOMAS DETRY: Eventful day. Got off to a really good start. Didn't quite make the putts that I wanted to but then got a good break on hole No. 5 for an eagle and that kick started the day really. Managed to make the turn at 2-under and then played some really steady golf from there on. There was a bit of a hiccup on 17 and it was nice to hear some crowds and to see some deer flying around after that shot.
Q. There's an iconic shot from Seve in the car park. You were in the beer garden. Tell us how you got there?
THOMAS DETRY: I was not committed on that shot. The wind was off the left and I was going to hit a draw and changed my mind, I'm going to hit a cut and I just can't come. I should have backed down but I didn't. Hit a brutal shot. Went strong left. Hit the grandstand, and I actually thought it was just dead.
But luckily there was a beer garden there and it was a lot of nice people to cheer me on, and I hit a great shot.
Q. You're in a position now where you could win a Rolex Series Event.
THOMAS DETRY: I've done really well already at some Rolex Series Events, Turkey and Nedbank. I feel like I've been up there a few times and know how to approach it. I'm going to play my game the same that I did today and hopefully the same.
