Q. We see the number but tell us about the story.
JON RAHM: Yeah, sometimes it's a bit similar to yesterday, right. You see 66, you see a great round, and you see 7-under through ten, and it could have been better, what could have been, and today was the same thing. Great ball-striking, hit great shots.
Just a couple, I wouldn't even say misfortune, I couldn't even tell you. Just a couple errors, whether it's me mentally or technically, whatever it is, it's a miss, right.
So it is unfortunate that it's been happening quite a bit the last few days. I'm usually very, very solid inside five feet. That's usually my comfortable range. It's definitely unusual.
But I'm making it up with a couple other longer putts and hitting really, really good shots out there. My iron play was exceptional today and it was great off the tee. Hopefully I can keep that going tomorrow and clean up the little mistakes and come out on top.
Q. The tee shot --
JON RAHM: It was high. I learned from my shot yesterday, right. Similar wind; different club. It kind of played into a similar shot I hit the second round on 17 where I basically just aim the ball where I want it to start, release it as high as he can to let it go high and straight and let the wind do the rest. That was about as good a swing as I could make, because it went so high, landed soft, had ten feet down the hill, and it was a perfectly played hole.
Q. This is the third Rolex Series Event event you could win, what would that mean to you?
JON RAHM: Well, it's not going to happen unless I make some putts. If I get it done tomorrow, you can ask me this question tomorrow again.
