Q. How do you reflect on the four days here?
ROBERT MacINTYRE: It's pretty easy. I know what I need to work on. I know little things I need to sharpen up. My whole team have done a great job of putting in a good shift. I just need so sharpen up shorter putts. Today was better. I started trusting my lines. Feel as if I'm really hitting it well and driving it solidly. Tweaked the driver to what I should have had it at the start of the week. I don't think there's much reflection needed at all. It's all there in front of me.
Q. You have four rounds in the 60s, but the buildup didn't help, because you lost a week.
ROBERT MacINTYRE: Not at all. That was the reason I was going to play the Irish Open. I'm not trying to downgrade any golf tournament but I would put this golf tournament right at the top of the pile for a Scotsman.
And I was really trying to feel ready for this week, and obviously everything that happened I kind of couldn't prepare and I was sitting in the house playing PlayStation rather than being on the golf course practising and competing.
So it is what it is, and this week, obviously disappointed not to have a run at the end. But it's golf; it's not easy.
Q. You're very chipper. Feeling positive?
ROBERT MacINTYRE: Majorly. It's not often I go to golf tournaments feeling really comfortable and know what's going on with certain shots. I feel really comfortable just now with my golf game and within myself.
Q. You could be leading Scot. There's a new award for a man that you knew very well. What would it mean to get that?
ROBERT MacINTYRE: That would mean everything. They said that would be another prize, top prize as a Scotsman, as an Argyll man, Jock MacVicar was golf. Everything he had done in his life was for golf. It would mean the absolute world to me, personally knowing him pretty well over the last kind of ten years. He was such a good man. I'd love to have that award.
