Q. Talk about your round.
ADAM HADWIN: The round was obviously great. You shoot 65 anywhere, you've played some good golf. Conditions are set up for it.
But yeah, I playing really solid tee-to-green. I was never out of position. Made a couple nice par putts when I needed to, including the one there on 9. Just I let it kind of slip away there on 7 and 8. It could have been, you know -- 65 is a great round and 63 would be a special round and a lot closer to the lead at this point. I'll just have to make that up this weekend.
Q. Your first time in Scotland, I believe. How do you make of it?
ADAM HADWIN: Not first time here in Scotland but first time here. I love it. It's been great. Staying down there at North Berwick and get to play there on Sunday afternoon. It's a quaint little town. But I've always enjoyed our trips over here to the U.K. and Ireland and staying there.
And the golf. I love the golf over here. It's such a treat to play because we don't play it very often. Everything is going well so far. I'm just happy to put a number on the board and see two more days.
Q. Getting towards the business end of the season on TOUR. Last major next week. Playoffs coming up. Presidents Cup, you're 8th on the ranking. How much does it all play to how you schedule yourself in the next few weeks?
ADAM HADWIN: I'm going to play -- obviously play the weekend here, play The Open and play 3M. That's my plan as of right now. But certainly want to make sure that I get some rest going into the Playoffs. It's going to be hot, humid. Takes a lot of energy out of you. Just have to be ready to go and to grind and to get into that top 30. Again, I think that's the goal at the beginning of every year. Get back to Atlanta. It's been a long time since I've been there. So I'd like to go back.
Q. That should take care of itself for the Presidents Cup, top six there.
ADAM HADWIN: Yeah. Listen, I think that I got to a point earlier this year where I was thinking about stuff too much. Not that I was focused on the golf course but you know, talking about it or this or that or how others are doing, and I finally put that aside and went out and had a good week at Memorial.
So I think obviously Olympics didn't pan out but yeah, TOUR Championship -- if I play the golf I know I'm capable of, then I'll let my record speak for itself of whether or not I deserve to be on the Presidents Cup team.
