Q. When we spoke yesterday, you said you didn't play as well in round two as you had in round one, presumably today was even better. 64 is a great score?
ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, I think I played the best of all three days today. The swing felt really tight. Ball coming out on line where I was looking. Nice way to play golf.
Now I'm getting picky and wish I had one or two better, but I'm very happy with 64.
Q. Out there with Bob MacIntyre in front of that tremendous crowd, them supporting him and you enjoying some of that atmosphere as well. What was it like? You were both 4-under through six. It sounded fantastic.
ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, it was great. Bob's playing great and he's the hero. On form at the moment, up here. And playing golf some Scotland is fantastic anyway. Loved it my whole career but playing with Bob today was really special, and trying to hang on to his coattails while he was running hot was good fun. I really enjoyed today.
Q. Your last win was four years ago at the genesis Invitational. Same sponsors here. How do you fancy your chances tomorrow?
ADAM SCOTT: I'm going to have to go low. I think the course is softening, really, and hitting some shots, like firing at pins today, not always what happens at the links but that's probably how it's going to be unless the forecast is drastically different. Like I said, I feel good. Shots are coming out on line, and I'm going to have to take some stuff on a little bit tomorrow and hole a few putts. Pretty bunched, so it's all going to have to go your way tomorrow to win.
