Q. A terrific final round after 63. Starting out ten shots behind, you obviously were not thinking about winning but an Open spot was up for grabs if you put a really good round in and you've done just that. Give us your thoughts on the day.
AARON RAI: Played really well. We had great conditions. It was pretty scorable out there. Played really nice tee-to-green. Felt a lot more comfortable with my long game, especially in comparison to how I felt yesterday. That really set up a lot of good opportunities. Hit a lot of fairways and rolled it really well today, as well.
So yeah, a great round overall. The Open wasn't really in my thinking going into today. Obviously I knew there were three spots available at the start of the week. I was aware of it yesterday, and I also felt I was so far away going into today and I didn't feel very good with where my game was at. It didn't really cross my mind until the end of the round.
Q. Tell us how much more difficult this course gets when it's cooler and the wind gets up as it has?
AARON RAI: Yeah, definitely, there are some really strong par 4s, especially on the back end of the front nine, a couple on the back nine as well, and when that wind picks up and the temperature drops, they play every inch of their yardage. There are some strong holes there. Course is in great shape. There are also some opportunities out there. I don't think the wind is going to pick up significantly. So I think they will still shoot some good scores.
