Q. How pleasing is it to have your first top 10 in Scotland in your third try?
COREY CONNORS: Yeah, fourth time here I think. Yeah, I guess feels nice. Did a lot of things really well this week and felt good with the game. Nice to putt a decent week together.
Q. What do you take from this week heading to the last major at Troon next week?
COREY CONNORS: I feel like all the parts of my game are pretty close to where I want them. Hitting a lot of good shots and doing a lot of things well, so definitely lots of confidence to take from this week into next week.
Q. Not the usual kind of golf you're used to in the States. Coming over to Scotland this week and next week, what is it about links golf that fascinates you?
COREY CONNORS: It's, I guess, not as new to me now. Got a little bit of experience playing over here last number of years. But just the creativity, the elements. You never know what you're going to get: The temperature changes, the wind changes, the rain. Just embracing the challenge of each day, and I think you've got to use a lot of creativity. There are some elements out there and different jobs around the greens, so it's a lot of fun to play.
Q. Towards the end of the regular season, there's a lot to play for, Playoffs, Presidents Cup. Is this all in the back of your mind or do you just focus on the week ahead?
COREY CONNORS: Just taking it week-by-week. Trying to have fun and do my best each week and hopefully move up the FedExCup and creep closer to a spot on the Presidents Cup team. Just trying to play golf and enjoy myself out here.
