THE MODERATOR: Welcome, Boston Common Golf, to the media center here at SoFi Center. Came out on the wrong end tonight but still a lot of good going on so far this season. Keegan, maybe some opening comments about the match tonight?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, we didn't play our best tonight. The greens, when it gets cold like this outside, get really fast, and we were just wailing putts by the hole, all three of us.

Not our best night tonight, but we'll come back tomorrow night and try to clinch this playoff spot.

Q. How much faster do you guys think the greens were going than what you've experienced here before tonight?

RORY McILROY: I don't know, were they like two feet quicker.

KEEGAN BRADLEY: At least. I'd say even more.

Q. You guys all spoke about how important it was this year to show some real life in the playoffs. How important is it to build momentum going into those few playoff matches and still control your own destiny?

RORY McILROY: Yeah, absolutely. We get a win tomorrow, and we get that playoff spot. I think compared to last year this has already been a success, getting our first couple of wins. Obviously Michael has been a really good addition to the team.

But yeah, we said to him walking off the green there, this is how we felt all last year, so welcome to your first defeat.

But yeah, we still obviously control our own destiny, and hopefully, as I said, get the win tomorrow night and the match on Sunday is obviously a little easier.

Q. Rorrs, just on a personal note, you had a big day yesterday over in California. What was the fuel tank like this morning and what were the travel arrangements? When did you get back home and how are you feeling?

RORY McILROY: I feel okay. We got out of there pretty quickly. The flight was very, very fast, under four hours. Big tailwinds. I got home last night about half past midnight, got a decent night's sleep, brought Poppy to school, took a nap during the day and then here. So yeah, I feel pretty good. Nice to sleep in your own bed.

Q. Lineup change tomorrow night. We see Adam and Hideki back on the team. How much have they been in contact with you guys throughout the season, and do you feel like they're prepared and ready to go tomorrow night?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, they're really excited. We're lucky, we have a really deep team. Everybody on our team are unbelievable players. We can mix and match any version of our team and we've got really solid players.

It's really fun to hear Adam has been watching every match from wherever he's been, texting us. I know they're anxious to get in here, and I'm excited for them to get in here with something to play for tomorrow night. I think that's going to be really fun.

Q. What was it like to see JT back out there swinging a club?

RORY McILROY: Yeah, it's great. Obviously he's been out for a little while, but it looks like his rehab has went really well. Looks like he's going to tee it up next week at Bay Hill for the first time.

So yeah, great to have him back out here. Obviously he's been one of the best players over the last decade, and it always sucks when you have to go through something like that and have surgery, but it looks like he's come out the other side and looks like he's feeling pretty good. So yeah, it's great to have him back.

Q. You guys met a bunch of the Red Sox guys before the match. Keegan, what was the conversations with them today?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, it was really fun. I get such a thrill out of meeting Boston athletes. I'm still like a 13-year-old fan at heart, so it's really fun to see those boys. Really meant a lot to me and us that they came over here to watch.

I feel really lucky to be a part of a Boston team, and when you're talking to the guys there, we're talking about playing for the city and where we're from. It means a lot. For them to come over was really cool. For me to meet Red Sox players, that was really fun, too.

Q. Michael, wrapping up your first TGL experience, kind of a recap of what was it was like out there and how it's been playing with Boston Common?

MICHAEL THORBJORNSEN: Yeah, it's been great. Win or lose, I feel like we all have a good time. Obviously it feels a little bit better when you win. But we did struggle out there. It's pretty evident why we lost. But we're feeling good with where things are. We're still tied for the lead. Yeah, I know Adam Scott and Hideki are going to come in tomorrow and have some fresh faces and they're going to be ready to go.

Q. Michael, I know you're in the Cognizant field, correct? Have you been just preparing for TGL today or did you go over to PGA National? How is your approach to playing both that and TGL tonight?

MICHAEL THORBJORNSEN: Yeah, it was just TGL today. I did go over to PGA National just to check into my hotel and register for the tournament, but that's kind of all I did. Came here this morning for the shootaround and just did that in between before coming here before the match.

Q. The ambiance here is unique and is very big. Do you think this kind of game, do you have any vision to develop it internationally, and what do you think --

RORY McILROY: Hopefully. I think that's the long-term goal. To build this facility was obviously a big undertaking, and we were delayed a year, but it was probably a blessing in disguise.

To replicate one of these facilities on the West Coast maybe, just to make the travel back and forth a little bit easier, but then if we could do it where we can say, yeah, bring it internationally or travel with it, however that looks. Obviously you have massive concerts that travel around the country and they can set things up. So maybe in time.

Obviously we're only into year two, and we'll see how it goes. Obviously we've got the women's league coming up later this year, so hopefully that goes well. Maybe if that's Phase II, maybe Phase III is trying to build a facility elsewhere.
