Q. You're leading the field in strokes gained and putting. Can you talk about the putting changes you were giving to Todd?
SEPP STRAKA: That was during the off-season last year, during the fall. Tried to get a little bit of a stronger grip. My grip was pretty weak last year, and I had a pretty bad year putting.
Just changed my setup a little bit because of it. Hands got a little higher. After that, the rest was really pretty much the same. Just trying to do my practice process. Yeah, it's been good this year.
Q. I saw you talk about the stress that comes with trying to win a golf tournament. How do you plan on dealing with those feelings tomorrow?
SEPP STRAKA: You're going to have them. You're definitely going to have them. So you just -- all you can do is try to focus on what you can control, and that is your target, try to hit your number, and try to make a good swing. That's pretty much it.
You're going to feel terrible while trying to do it, but that's just part of it. That kind of makes it fun when you are able to pull it off.
Q. With the changing conditions the last couple of days, you've kind of gotten three different golf courses. How does that impact your game plan, especially considering that you guys, no one's been here before?
SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, a lot. It's fun to see three different ways in our first three days playing here. Yesterday, the ball wasn't rolling a whole lot because of the rain, and then today the ball is rolling out a lot off the tee.
Having to try to pick clubs was a lot tougher today than yesterday. It's been fun on the tee box trying to strategize on a new golf hole every day and trying to figure out the best way to play it.
Q. What hole is played the most different day to day to day? Has there been one?
SEPP STRAKA: Probably 11, I would say. 11's played very different. I've gone from hitting a 7-wood in to hitting 80-some yards today. I think that one has varied the most.
Q. There's a lot of crowds out there with Rory and Collin. When you get to the deep part of the golf course and you're kind of playing steady golf behind them, are you someone who takes solace in the peace and quiet out there while you're getting through your round?
SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, for sure, definitely. The crowds make it fun. It's really fun to have those guys. I got to play with JT today, and he always has a big following.
The fans were incredible all week really. Since Wednesday in the practice rounds, they were out here. It's been really fun to play in front of the Philly fans.
Q. Does it help when your playing partner is shooting a low score too?
SEPP STRAKA: Yeah, probably. It's nice if they're not shooting 80 or something. That would kind of throw you out of your rhythm a little bit.
Yeah, JT and I have had a nice back and forth. I've played with him since junior golf days, and it was a really fun group out there.
