Q. What are you pleased with through two rounds?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I think the way I've scored. I think yesterday I did play well. I felt very in control yesterday. Today didn't feel like I swung it as well. Definitely didn't have my rhythm, got ahead of a few shots. But I didn't hit it in any terrible spots and I felt I scored very well. Those are the positives to take. I've definitely hit enough good shots, but today I didn't quite have it, but still managed to get a good score out of it. I holed out well and did a lot of other things well.
Q. Putting numbers are good. Anything you feel like you've been doing especially well?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Just continuously working on it. I felt like I've had -- it's funny, you do the same things, but sometimes it just feels like a battle, and sometimes it feels like it flows a little bit more. It's stupid. I just picked the right lines and I hit 'em on the right lines. But sometimes you just go through runs where you feel like you do everything well; you read it well, you commit to your line, you hit a good putt and it doesn't go in. And then you just need to see the ball go in a little bit more. That's what it's been like for the first two round. I hope that continues. But it's just nice to even get a couple of days where you have something to show for your work, I guess. Just a nice reminder that it will come good at some point if you keep doing the right things. So that's been great. I just hope it continues. The greens aren't easy. I think the greens are very, very difficult and I just had a really good eye for it over the first two days and I putted well and that's been a big difference for me.
Q. I know the finishes don't always tell the full story, but this week better than maybe the last few weeks. Is there anything you feel like you're doing better this week than the past couple starts?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: No, I hit the ball well last week. I had one poor round where I had a poor little stretch in the middle. I think the margins are so small and the players are so packed. Like, I was never going to shoot 19-under last week, but couple of bad holes and you fall away quite easily. Same really at the Masters. I was top 5 going into the weekend at the Masters, so there's a lot of good stuff there. Didn't materialize in Hilton Head, I had a terrible first round, but then the rest was okay. There's been good stuff in there, but it's easy to feel further away than what you are. I just think the level of play is so high that you don't have to be that far off to look that far off, if you like. So just trying to keep doing what I know works for me and be patient with that process and hopefully results come through it.
Q. I don't know how well you know Alex through Matt, but he gets his card, but now he's right away contending in Signature Events.
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Well, it's great. I think he's on a great run of form. I think he's put a lot of great work in. I remember playing back in Europe towards the back end of last year and he was, he had struggled up until that point in the year, and his game was clearly coming back. He had a great finish to the year, he's continued that on. So his work is paying off. I think it's an amazing time for him to be playing well, feel confident, have that work paying off for him with great results. It just shows, you know, like, wherever you are, if you're playing good golf and you're playing to the level you want to play at, you can compete on any given week. So it's great to see him and Pete doing so well, and it's a great start to his PGA TOUR career, if you like and, yeah, happy for him.
Q. Were you paired together in India?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: No, we didn't play together in India. I think he had he was on a good spell there. He was playing well there. But I didn't get to play with him there.
