Q. The last three weeks we have talked about you just getting more comfortable, you feeling like you fit in on the PGA TOUR. What does it now say about you as a player that you're not only a winner on the PGA TOUR, but you did it at a Signature Event at a golf course like this?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: I don't have any words, to be honest. This is way more than I expected and for it to happen this quickly is just unreal. Yeah, a dream come true.
Q. What's amazing to me is it wasn't that long ago that you weren't finding joy in the game, you thought about stepping away, being a YouTube golfer. Now just a handful of years later you have full status on the PGA TOUR for two years, you're in every single major. How did joy help you get to this point?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: No, it helped me find my game again. It helped me discover my talents again. Yeah, that was something really important to me, which I try to remind myself of every single day. So that was definitely a huge thing for me getting back and starting to play some good golf again.
Q. For every mom who is watching at home right now with a kid who has a dream, they know how much sacrifice it takes to get their kid to this place. How meaningful is it to know that your parents are now watching you live out your dream on the biggest stage in the world?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: Yeah, it's amazing. I mean, they have made golf a very, very high priority in our household. Every single Christmas we would go to somewhere where I could play golf or compete. So they have definitely made a great, great effort to at least help me get to the place I am today and I couldn't be more grateful.
