Quick Quotes

Q. You're a finalist. Congratulations. How does it feel?

MONET CHUN: It feels amazing, honestly. Coming into this week I couldn't imagine being in this spot, so yeah, I'm pretty happy about it.

Q. What are you most proud of in terms of your game and getting here?

MONET CHUN: Yeah, just being patient, I think, throughout the whole week. I definitely wasn't the lowest round coming into match play, so just being patient with the number of putts I made, and just staying steady.

Q. What's the game plan going into tomorrow?

MONET CHUN: Honestly just the same thing as today as the last couple days, just making sure I'm hitting a lot of greens and hitting the spots I want to.

Q. On the broadcast they mentioned you had gone through a bit of a rough patch in your golf. Can you talk about that and reaching this pinnacle now?

MONET CHUN: Yeah, I wasn't very steady like swing-wise, so being here right now is actually a huge accomplishment for me. I feel like this past year in school this season was probably the best I've played so far, so I'm pretty happy with where I am.

Q. What did you work on in that time game-wise?

MONET CHUN: Just a lot of honestly swing practice but being able to chip well was definitely helpful just because I wouldn't hit as many greens around the course, and then just chipping, short putting, yeah, so everything.

Q. With this win you are now into the Women's Open next year at Pebble Beach. How does that sound?

MONET CHUN: That's honestly amazing. I'm really excited.

Q. Have you ever played Pebble Beach before?

MONET CHUN: No, I haven't. That's going to be a first.
