Q. Real quick, what was it like being out there today?
CALEB MANUEL: Different. Yeah, it was a lot, but after the fifth hole, I thought the nerves were gone, so that's positive.
Q. Anything out there that made you smile today?
CALEB MANUEL: Just the little kids probably just yelling at me. Some people from home. That's it.
Q. Lastly, playing at the U.S. Open, what were the emotions like today?
CALEB MANUEL: Obviously, I was nervous waking up until I hit my first tee ball and probably through the first couple of holes, but I'm not hitting it great, so I told my dad and my coach that before. I'm, like, I mean, I'm just going to go out there and have fun. If I'm going to hit bad shots, whatever. It's the U.S. Open, get in the rough, try to make bogey. I wish I was hitting it a little better, but, yeah, I still -- last 12 holes I never had more fun shooting in the 80s.
