Q. Walk me through the hole-out eagle you had from the fairway on hole 17 today?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, went driver, laid up with a 6-iron, and it was just a really good number in for me. I think it was 83, a little downwind. 58 is normally 80 yards, so, yeah, hit a good shot.
Kind of one of those I was like, oh, looks pretty good. People were kind of clapping and then there was a big cheer. So I didn't see it go in, but always exciting to have a hole-out.
Q. And you're a former U.S. Women's Open champion in California. What's it like playing here?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, I mean, just being in Southern California as well. I mean, obviously Pebble Beach was really special, but have a lot of college friends coming out this week. A lot of family out. So it's just really special to kind of feel like I'm at a second home almost.
And, yeah, Riviera is such a beautiful property as well. Really excited to be here this week.
